a1 have been around for around four years. This means a lot of songs have been made,
produced and released. In this section of the site I will be telling you a
little bit about each and every single they've released, and also name all their
songs so far. So let's get started. Here's the singles so far! Be The First To Believe. Where was the video filmed?: Mexico. What happens in the vid?: Basically a1 are going around asking for directions to somewhere. On the way they do the "one on one" moves to help out the people who helped them, by giving them a new outfit, and letting them come to their concert at the end of the vid. Who wrote the song?: Peter Cunnah, Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read and Paul Marazzi. Details: When a1 were shooting the scenes by the water fall, doing the moves to "just one on one" moves, they were really really tired, after staying up to see the night lights in Mexico, which were pretty amazing, so they decided to take advantage of it! And if you look really closely you'll see they've got the biggest bags EVER under their eyes! Summertime of our Lives Where was the video filmed?: Bahamas. What happens in the vid?: a1 are just basically fooling around on the beach, swimming with dolphins. Who wrote the song?: Peter Cunnah, Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read and Paul Marazzi. Details: Ben says the cheesiest thing he's ever done was in this video where he was drawing a huge a1 logo in the sand, "You'd probably catch me writing rude words in HUGE letters now!!" he says!! Everytime Where was the video filmed?: Zahara Deserts. What happens in the vid?: the boys basically ride on horses to the desert, then they're standing in the desert singing about how they miss the girl they were dating, then they're sat all together at some jambori party thing going on. There's a girl there too, that also rides a horse to the jambori party thing! (except it's not actually a girl! it's a MAN baby!!) Who wrote the song?: Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read Details: The people riding the horses werent actually a1, "it was someone else" Ben said, "fabricated" said Paul, "riding our horses!" Ben finished! Ready or Not Where was the video filmed?: London Studio. What happens in the vid?: The boys are performing on a stage, kinda like a 60's version of "Top Of The Pops". Who wrote the song?: Peter Cunnah, Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read, Paul Marazzi. Details: When a1 got to the video set, they found out that they had to stand on round podiums, and they couldnt do the dance routine planned, as they had no room to do it, "I actually came up with the ready or not here we come dance" Paul replied. "He literally just went, okay lets do this" Mark says. "And it actually turns out to be our most popular dance routine!" Mark also says. Like a Rose Where was the video filmed?: London Studio. What happens in the vid?: a1 are in various rooms of a house, and there are rose petals falling from the ceiling, and in one shot Mark is actually sitting in a bath full of rose petals. who wrote the song?: Ben Adams. Details: In the shot of Mark in the bath filled with rose petals "We found out that filling a bath tub with rose petals would've cost us £300! So, and i think this is a great idea, we actually filled the tub with screwed up balls of paper, then layered the top with rose petals!" Mark said. Also, on the scene where they're all spinning around near the end and all the fire and water's on them, "We got really dizzy on the end sequence, coz we were on this round thing, going round and roundlike this (makes twirly arm movements going around in circles really fast) coz we had to film it in double speed! coz we had to film it in double speed!" What happens in the vid?: a1 are transported into a computer to fight a HUGE virus inside, and Paul kills the mother-virus with the bullets on his amazing motorbike type thing! Who wrote the song?: P.Waaktaar, M. Furuholmen and M. Harket. (Otherwise known as A-Ha, Norweigan boyband back in the 80's) Details: This is the first song off the second album, so the record company decided to spend loads and loads of money to make a great video for it! It's a cover of the no.2 hit single by a-ha. But a1 took it one step closer and made their first UK no.1! Same Old Brand New You Where was this video shot?: In London on a road, (*lol*) outside some building with gas tanks! What happens in the vid?: the boys are all mechanics and a girl is sat with them, then some guy (who looks a bit like "Ricky" from Eastenders, well whan he was on it) comes along in a car, Mark fills it up with petrol, then the girl goes off with him!! (how rude) then they're dancing in the rain, watching a car and a motorbike go head to head in a race for the girl!! Who wrote the song?: Eric Foster White, Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read. Details: Ben actually caught a rather nasty cold after filming the video for this single, as they had to have buckets of water thrown over them, then had to dance in cold winds. He didn't miss any tv appearances, but you could tell he was ill by the look on his face, and the fact that a1 had to mime for a while. No More Where was this video shot?: singapore harbour, and forest. What happens in the vid?: a1 get attacked by ninja's, after climbing down a castle type thing wall, and defeat the ninjas with wicked kung-fu moves! Who wrote the song?: S. Bensusen, C. Cueni, L. Robbins, D. Sharpe. Details: Christian actually got food poisoning in Singapoer, and missed out on loads of No More promotion in the area! But he recovered within 3 days ready to head back to the uk! Caught in The Middle Where was this video shot?: Finland What happens in the vid?: Our Boys leave their girls, and they get all mad, then they're regretting leaving! So they're singing about how diffrerent things are now they're gone. Who wrote the song?: Ben Adams, Paul Marazzi. Details: Paul had never done a snow-angel before, but the girl who was with him for the shot showed him how to do it, and his first ever snow angel is in their video!! Bless!! What happens in the vid?: a1 are basically performing, and appearing everywhere on the screen and stuff, with loads of (lucky) extra's partying!!
